Our Honorable Prime Minister The Narendra Modi Announced New Scheme named Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. The SAGY (Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana) is launched on 11th October 2014 on occasion of Jay Prakash Narayan’s Birthday.

The SAGY Scheme is working on beliefs, values, & principles of the Mahatma Gandhi. Under this scheme, the government is developing infrastructure for Village’s Development.

Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana is giving new changes for development in Village’s People. this scheme creating Facilities & Opportunity for development.

This SAGY Scheme is a Unique & flexible scheme. its ultimate goal to make growth in India & Employment to the people.

Under this scheme, the government provides a required Facility to the villages. it is not enough they are trying to develop existing services value such as Antodaya Service, equality, maintain women’s dignity, Clarity. The Changes is getting an example for other villages to make its Adarsh Gram.

The Government’s main goal of the SAGY Scheme is to create Three villages for Model villages for other villages by 2019 which was completed in 2016. After that, they choose 5 villages & to create an Adarsh Gram.

Objectives Of Sansad Gram Yojana

This Scheme’s Main Purpose is to Launch existing and new Schemes to develop village area. Under this scheme, the people who live in a village will be able to live a good life and developed more.

Under this scheme, The people get the best opportunity for improvement such as Increase in productivity, human development, reducing inequalities, etc.

How to Identified Adarsh Gram for SAGY?

Under this scheme, The Gram Panchayat took for to make Adarsh Gram on the basis of some conditions.

The first condition is that the village which is selected for Adarsh Gram need to have a population about 3000 to 5000 in Plain areas. If the village is residual in mountain area needs to have a population about 1000 to 3000.

The Member of Parliament is free to choose a suitable gram panchayat for Developed as an Adarsh Gram. they can select his/ her own village or other than her/his spouse villages.

The MP choose one Gram Panchayat for to make it Adarsh Gram. After then the MP will choose another 2 villages little later.

Adarsh Gram Yojana Scheme

Loksabha’s Members Must choose a Gram within Her/His Electorate area. The Rajyasabha’s Member selects a village from the state which has that member’s electorate State.

Nominated Members can choose a Gram Panchayat from Any rural area of the Country/State. If any villages have not including in any rural constituency the Nominated member can identify the gram panchayat nearby areas.

The gram panchayat selected by the Member and if the member’s working tenure is completed then after that Gram Panchayat continued under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.

New Parliament Members can also choose a Gram Panchayat under this scheme. They have also a choice of other two villages per principal guideline.
